Our adventure started in 2000 as part of the strategic expansion of the Albatravel Group, when we identified the need to develop our own internal supply chain to secure the best content and directly negotiated rates.
In 2004 WHL started to expand its markets, selling to major wholesalers in Europe and North America and major investments were made towards the technological developments of XML integrations.
WHL sees rapid expansion with global offices opening in London and Spain, both acting as bases for contracting our extensive direct inventory within those core markets.
The USA office opened. This resulted in more direct product in key strategic markets and to serve our growing global client base.
Global expansion continues with the opening of the China office.
The rapid business development expansion into all global markets, including Australia, China, India, Middle East and Eastern Europe.
The creation of our own inhouse technology team and platform with strategic connectivity for supply and distribution in close partnership with all of the world’s major travel platforms.
The creation of a new WHL global office in Dubai and an international business development team to support our continued expansion plans.
The increase in offering to over 200,000 hotels from chains and channel managers plus selected aggregated supply from third parties.
The additional offering of ancillary services online and via API.
